Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

Thanks for trusting Mission Bridge with your missionary's memories. These terms explain what you can expect from us and what we ask of you. We've tried to write them in plain language.

What Mission Bridge Does

Mission Bridge automatically saves emails, photos, and voice memos that your missionary sends to their designated Mission Bridge address. We store this content securely and make it available to you through your personal dashboard.

Mission Bridge does not automatically retrieve content from Google Photos, Google Drive, or any other account your missionary uses. We only save what is actually sent to us, as a direct file attached to the email.

What Mission Bridge Cannot Save

Email providers limit how large a single email can be. If your missionary attaches several large or high-resolution photos in one email, or if their email provider automatically converts attachments into a Google Drive (or similar) link due to size, we may not be able to save that content. We recommend a handful of regular photos per email for the best results, and we'll flag it on your dashboard if we detect a link we couldn't capture, so you know to save it yourself.

Mission Bridge is designed to reliably capture emails, voice memos, and a reasonable number of photos sent directly as attachments. It is not designed to be a full backup of your missionary's entire photo library or phone storage.

Your Account and Access

When you sign up, you provide an email address for your missionary and one for yourself. You're responsible for keeping your dashboard link reasonably private. If you choose to share it with extended family or friends, you can turn off downloading and deleting for anyone using that link in your dashboard settings.

Length of Service

Your archive remains active and accessible for at least 6 months after your missionary's expected return date. After that period, we may discontinue service for inactive accounts, but we will always notify you by email first and give you a reasonable opportunity to download your content before anything is affected.

We may offer paid options to keep an archive active indefinitely in the future. If so, we'll communicate any changes clearly and will never remove access without advance notice.

Our Commitment to Your Data — and Its Limits

We take saving your missionary's memories seriously, and we've built Mission Bridge specifically to prevent the kind of loss that happens when a missionary.org account is wiped. That said, like any technology service, we cannot guarantee against every possible failure.

Our promise: If we ever lose an email, photo, or voice memo that was successfully delivered to your Mission Bridge address, we will refund what you paid for that missionary's archive, no questions asked.

Beyond that refund, Mission Bridge and its founder are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to lost, delayed, or inaccessible content. We strongly encourage you to periodically download your archive as an extra backup — we make this easy to do at any time from your dashboard.

What We Ask of You

Privacy

Your missionary's emails and photos are private by default. We do not sell, share, or use your content for any purpose other than displaying it to you on your dashboard. Only people with your specific dashboard link can view your archive.

Changes to These Terms

As Mission Bridge grows, we may update these terms. If we make a meaningful change, we'll let you know by email before it takes effect.
